1. Choose a City!
The first step for planning any type of party is deciding where it’s going to take place. There
are tons of options out there! Vegas, New York, Miami…to name a few of the top party destinations out there! Or, maybe a place has special meaning to you and your friends! Perhaps choose a city the bride has never been to, but has always wanted to go!
Write down a list of the cities and then narrow it down with a pros and cons list until you have your winner!
2. Decide on a Theme.
Your party can go one of a million different ways, from a spa day, a lake retreat, or perhaps even something a little wilder. There are tons of great websites out there like TheBach.com that can help get your creative juices flowing, and also act as a resource for vendors and venues! Etsy is also a great place to gather inspiration for themes and decorations!
3. Create an Itinerary.
After you’ve decided on where you want to go for you big party, plan out a schedule, (day,
time and locations) of the events you’d like to attend and print this schedule out for your guests. It’s something a lot of people overlook but is one of the easiest ways of keeping everything on track and stress free! It also helps to keep track of costs associated with each portion of the plan to help others decide what they are able to participate in.
4. Invite Your Guests
Simple right? Once your plan is set in stone, let your guests know through email, text, card,
e-vite, carrier pigeon, or any other way you can think of, so that they can plan accordingly.
5. Have Fun!
After steps 1-4 are complete it’s time to enjoy yourself!
