This week’s cocktail recipe is inspired by our very own surfer!
In case you didn’t know, our girl Adriana married a surfer by the name of Zeke Double Moon Turtle last Saturday. If you’d like to read more about that and the actor who plays our resident surfer, Zeke, click here! So for this week, we decided to go with a beach theme for our cocktail recipe.
Would anyone care for a Shark Bite?
No, not an actual shark bite, don’t be silly! However, because Zeke is a surfer, he will always have to worry about the possibility of a shark attack. It may never happen but still, a surfer needs to be prepared! This is a great cocktail with a little bit of a kick to it and a great visual effect.
To create a Shark Bite cocktail and bring out the surfer in you you’ll need these ingredients.
Ingredients:
3/4 oz Captain MorganĀ® Original spiced rum
3/4 oz light rum
1/2 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
1 1/2 oz sweet and sour mix
3 drops grenadine syrup
To create the cocktail, all you need to do is fill a shaker with ice. Add the spiced rum, light rum, sour, and blue curacco. Shake the ingredients well. Strain into a rocks glass and garnish with three drops of grenadine.
Easy right?!
Here’s a Youtube video of another form of this drink called the Shark Attack Shot. It ends up not really being the size of an actual shot but it still looks really cool when you’re making it!

As always, I hope you enjoy this cocktail recipe and please drink responsibly!
